The story begins in 1991.
That year, I bought this large-format painting by a German painter and for a long time, it was a very inspiring painting in our kitchen.
Twenty years later, I began to wonder whether it might be time to embark on a daring journey.
Then, on November 9, 2011, the moment finally arrived.
Three days later—after a period of listening to my inner self—I knew which path to take.
And it took six months for the next steps to become clear.
However, it would take until September for further important steps to emerge.
Around September 11, 2012, the painting's wealth of detail and true face were revealed for the first time.
In early March 2013, the final coloring of the entire painting became apparent.
But the characterization of the protagonists was still too pronounced.
To change this figurative orientation, I was forced to take a radical step:
The clown face.
Finally, the painting was shown in the exhibition "Elexir IV" at the Seidlvilla in Munich, September 2015
Acquired from a private collector and now available again.
