Eruptive Spiralmelody

eruptive spiralmelody triptych

From stillness,
through the outbreak at the core, to the expansion.

An "eruptive spiralmelody" does not exist as a recognized musical term.
It is a picturesque, metaphorical, and poetic description of an ascending sequence of notes that releases its energy in an eruptive burst.
It is a poetic description of solar flares that release their magnetic and electrical energies into the solar corona in the form of twisting spiral structures.

The visual spiral: The lines and wave-like bands on the triptych extend from left to right across all three canvases like a musical score. The spirals and circular forms (such as the blue-patterned spheres) appear like notes or vibrations spreading through space.

The eruptive element: Energy is concentrated in the center of the triptych. The center bursts open in a powerful, intensely colored structure (the "eruptive" core) in warm yellow, orange, and pink tones, from which the movement is released into the side panels.

The melody: The lines create a visual melody – a rhythm that the viewer's eye follows like a piece of music.
